Zero Empathy Extra Hold Hair Care (Ocean Breeze)
Project Overview
The Problem
Zero Empathy is looking to launch a new offering for their mixture of extra hold hair care in its new “Ocean Breeze” scent, inspired by a nautical feel of blue. For its new product launch, it wants to use colors of the sea to help establish the look and feel of the design. Ocean Breeze will be offered in various sizes.

Zero Empathy is a line of hair care products and body essentials for daily hygiene.

Product Research
Moodboard
In looking at competitors, most leaned on the use of beach related colors such as blue, sand gold and white, including iconography such as images and illustrations of ocean waves to emphasize freeness and flow, related to the movement of hair and ocean waves.
Typography
Zero Empathy used a combination of three font styles (Blackheat, Mouse Deco and Calibri) for its logo and product specs.
Color
Black and white font coloring was used for the logo and product specs lettering.
Images
An image of white capped ocean waves was used as the backdrop for branding the "Ocean Breeze” product line.
Refining the Design
Branding and Product Design Layouts
Once color, images and typography were selected, I began to work on streamlining the look of the branding and product design layouts. Identical designs with different layouts were made to accompany the various product size offerings.

Various advertisement banners were created to showcase the advertising potential in everyday billboard signage.
Highway Roadside Billboards
Samplings of advertisement campaigns were created to highlight the marketing potential for Tropico Seltzers.
Conclusion
An ocean nautical inspired look was created to streamline Zero Empathy’s “Ocean Breeze” line in various sized offerings of bottles.
